For more information please visit the Centre website. The Centre puts forward a number of students each year for AHRC and ESRC studentships.
Fees and Maintenance
Your Estimated Annual Commitment:
Component | Cost |
---|---|
University Composition Fee | £10,356 |
Maintenance | £19,000 |
Total Annual Commitment | £29,356 |
Students wishing to undertake research or fieldwork in Latin America will incur costs for flights, accommodation and subsistence. There are sources of funding available to students to apply to for research trips, e.g. the Simon Bolivar Fund, but students should not expect all of the costs of their research trip to be covered. If you have any concerns about this please speak to a member of CLAS staff before applying noting that research abroad is not a mandatory part of the course.
If you study part-time, the University Composition Fee will be 60% of the annual full-time fee for 5 years; or 75% of the annual full-time fee for 4 years. Guidance on calculation of your maintenance costs can be found here: Maintenance costs for part-time students | Postgraduate Study (cam.ac.uk)
