Expected Academic Standard
Applicants for this course should have achieved a UK High II.i Honours Degree.
If your degree is not from the UK, please check International Qualifications to find the equivalent in your country.
All students applying to the MRC BSU PhD programme must have or expect to get a first or high II.i honours degree in mathematics, statistics or a related discipline.
All applicants will be expected to have significant knowledge of both practical and theoretical mathematics and /or statistics via taught courses at undergraduate level or equivalent.
Those students who have gained their degree outside the UK will be subject to University of Cambridge criteria for overseas qualifications to ensure that this high level is maintained. A master's degree is also considered desirable.
