Funding Opportunities
Applicants to the MASt may be eligible to be considered for a number of bursaries and scholarships particular to the course, such as:
Sheila Edmonds Bursaries
London School of Geometry and Number Theory deferred studentship
Trinity Studentship in Mathematics
Ramanujan Research Studentship in Mathematics
Alexander Crummel Scholarship
Some of these opportunities may only be available to those applying to particular streams and/or to particular Colleges. Others are offered with the aim of encouraging applications from women and other underrepresented groups.

Applicants wishing to be considered for these funding opportunities must submit their application by Tuesday 7 January 2025.

Fees and Maintenance

All MASt courses are treated as undergraduate courses for fee purposes. International/overseas students are therefore also charged the undergraduate College fee, which is in addition to the University fee and maintenance costs. The maximum College fee in 2025-26 is £13,950. Visit the International Students Fees page on the Undergraduate Study website for more details.
Students will require a laptop or equivalent device. The cost if purchased new will depend on choice, but existing laptops less than four years old are likely to be fine.
