SPRI offers the Debenham Scholarship and Scott Polar Scholarship to outstanding applicants for the MPhil in Polar Studies. All applicants are considered for these awards.

Although not mandatory, very occasionally a student may conduct a short period of fieldwork. These trips may incur additional travel costs for the student, but there are opportunities to apply for funding through colleges and other sources.
