Fees and Maintenance
Your Estimated Annual Commitment:
Component | Cost |
---|---|
University Composition Fee | £10,356 |
Maintenance | £19,000 |
Total Annual Commitment | £29,356 |
All students must normally undertake 12–18 months' ethnographic fieldwork during which they may incur additional costs for travel, maintenance and equipment. Students are able to apply to the University Fieldwork Fund for assistance in meeting these additional costs, and will receive guidance about other funding sources for fieldwork. Visit the Funding Postgraduate Fieldwork page on the Department of Social Anthropology website for details.
If you study part-time, the University Composition Fee will be 60% of the annual full-time fee for 5 years; or 75% of the annual full-time fee for 4 years. Guidance on calculation of your maintenance costs can be found here: Maintenance costs for part-time students | Postgraduate Study (cam.ac.uk)
