Things You'll Need

In order to apply for this course you'll need to think about getting a few things ready before you apply.

  • Transcript  
  • CV/resume
  • Evidence of competence in English  
    If required - you can check using our tool
  • Research proposal
    Please upload a research proposal of around 1,000 words. Special formatting is not required. The research proposal should contain • A clear research question. Give a clear idea of the viability and importance of the research you propose. • Methodology by suggesting appropriate research methods. • Relevant academic literature (literature review) that describes the viability and importance of the research you propose. The literature review is not included in the word limit. You may also want to mention your ability and interest in doing the work.

Gates Cambridge Scholarships

If you wish to be considered for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship you will also need to provide the following:

  • Gates Cambridge Reference  
  • Research Proposal (PhD applicants only)
