Apply using the Applicant Portal

The Apply Now button on the right will take you to the Applicant Portal, where you can create and submit your application and supporting documents, and request references.

An application is only complete when:

  1. you have submitted your application and supporting documents via the Applicant Portal
  2. you have paid the £60 application fee
  3. your referees have provided their references.

If you miss the deadlines specified in this section, you will not be able to submit your application.

Applicants are encouraged to contact potential supervisors directly in the first instance, to discuss their
application and funding possibilities. A list of Haematology Principal Investigators can be found on the department website.

If you have been advised to make a formal application by your prospective supervisor, you will need to do this
by submitting an application via the online Applicant Portal.

This course is part of a scheme within the Graduate School of Life Sciences which enables three applications to be made with payment of a single application fee. A list of other eligible courses and further information can be found here.

How to apply
Applicants should complete the University's on-line application form by the closing date, via the on-line Applicant Portal.

Applicants from overseas, who need to apply for extra funding to cover the difference between home and overseas
fees, should apply via the same Applicant Portal by the relevant funding application deadline as noted on the funding webpage.

Selection Process

Applications are considered as they are received (rolling admission). However, applicants wishing to be
considered for the University's graduate funding competition will need to apply by the relevant deadline (see
side bar on right
)
