Expected Academic Standard

Applicants for this course should have achieved a UK II.i Honours Degree.

If your degree is not from the UK, please check International Qualifications to find the equivalent in your country.

Candidates are expected to have a good undergraduate degree from a recognised university. We are looking for the equivalent of a first-class or good upper-second-class honours from a British university or equivalent. You must submit a copy of your undergraduate academic transcript (or degree certificate if a transcript is not available). Applicants who have not achieved the minimum requirement at undergraduate level could be considered if they have a relevant postgraduate qualification or good master’s degree.

If you have not previously studied in the UK, it is important that you check if the qualifications you hold are considered suitable preparation for entry onto our programme. You can check the suitability of your qualifications on the International Qualifications page on the Graduate Admissions website.

Applicants are encouraged to take either the GRE or GMAT. Although this is not a formal requirement, for applicants from universities which may not be well known to members of the admissions committee, a strong GRE or GMAT test result may well make a difference.

Your application will be considered if you have lower grades, but only if you can demonstrate that you have been exceptionally successful in other ways. In such cases, you will also need to provide a good score on the GMAT exam.
