To apply to the University of Cambridge, you must submit an online application through the Applicant Portal.

Making an application
- Go to the Course Directory and find the course you wish to apply for.
- Click the 'Apply Now' button on the course page (this will open the Applicant Portal).
- Register for an account or log in to the Applicant Portal.
- Once you're logged in, you can:
- create an application
- request and track your references
- submit supporting documentation
- apply for funding
- indicate your preference Colleges
- pay the application fee (if applicable)
- save your application and return to it later
- submit your application
- track the progress of your application

Please note
- All applications must be completed in English.
- The application fee payment must be made before you can submit your application.
- Your application will not be considered until all supporting documentation, including references, has been provided.
- You need to submit a separate application (with separate supporting documents) for each course you wish to apply for.
- We encourage you to submit your application early in case you experience issues and require our help.
- You need to complete and submit your application yourself. Applications submitted by an agent in your name will be withdrawn and you risk being banned from re-applying for five years.
- The University of Cambridge treats admissions fraud seriously and takes robust action against fraudulent applications.
