Adeeb Elahi, Head of Commercial at NEOM (CEM cohort 10), (Jan. 1, 2023)Juggling part-time studies with a full-time job and caring for a family of three is undeniably challenging. The
course’s tailored flexibility, catering to the needs of fulltime employees, demands discipline and dedication. However, it was incredibly worthwhile as it boosted my confidence to challenge the status quo, provided a genuine opportunity to understand and empathise with other parts of the industry and enabled me to think beyond the present and into the future.
Liz Ng, Associate Partner at Foster + Partners (CEM cohort 8), (Jan. 1, 2021)I was drawn to the CEM because of its unique programme that integrates technological and managerial aspects of the construction industry. Being part of a cohort with representatives from various disciplines allowed for diverse opinions and ideas to be shared. The course has increased my confidence and expanded my knowledge of the construction ecosystem, from the design phase through to business negotiations and execution. This has enabled me to work effectively with different departments and stakeholders within our practice, resulting in better collaboration.
Camila Bernal, Senior Environmental Manager at Laing O’Rourke (CEM cohort 8), (Feb. 1, 2020)This course has given me the opportunity to broaden my horizons and think critically about how I can provide a more meaningful contribution to our project delivery.
Returning to the Master's after one year of maternity leave was a challenge worth taking and I’d fully recommend this course to anyone, but especially to those women and mums who passionately feel they want to go the extra mile to transform our industry into a more inclusive and diverse place to work.
