Applicants for this course should have achieved a UK Masters (Distinction).

Ordinarily, students should hold a distinction or equivalent in a Master's degree in Linguistics, in addition to a strong honours degree in Linguistics, with clear evidence of research potential. Degrees in disciplines other than Linguistics are accepted only if they contain a substantial linguistics component.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate clear evidence of research potential.
