Postgraduate Study

Course closed for this cycle: Applied Criminology, Penology and Management is no longer accepting applications for this cycle. It is expected to re-open for new applications in early September.

Expected Academic Standard

Applicants for this course should have achieved a Good II.i Honours Degree.

If your degree is not from the UK, please check International Qualifications to find the equivalent in your country.

There is provision to accept non-standard applicants who do not satisfy the standard academic criterion, (the standard academic criterion is at least a II.i honours bachelor’s degree, or successful completion of a Master’s degree from a UK University, or an equivalent standard from a recognised overseas institution), but such applicants must produce evidence of relevant and equivalent experience and their suitability for the course. Such non-standard applicants would normally be senior criminal justice professionals or senior personnel working with public sector organisations concerned with penology-related operations. An interview is required for all non-standard students and some standard students where appropriate.
