Funding Opportunities
Applicants who apply before the beginning of April 2026 may be considered, subject to residency criteria, for a small number of EPSRC (DLA) doctoral training studentships. The majority of these will be offered to Home* students, but a small number may be offered to outstanding International* students.
* To be classed as a home student, candidates must meet the following criteria: be a UK National (meeting residency requirements) or have settled or pre-settled status (meeting residency requirements) or have indefinite leave to remain or enter (meeting residency requirements). If a candidate does not meet the criteria above, they would be classed as an International student.

If you study part-time, the University Composition Fee will be 60% of the annual full-time fee for 5 years; or 75% of the annual full-time fee for 4 years.
