I entered with quite a narrow view and understanding of the energy landscape, but the course helped open my eyes to the wide world of energy and challenged my notions of what was actually practical and possible. It provided not only illuminating big-picture views, but also a strong fundamental scientific basis for understanding how different technologies work in detail.
