Research studentships to study for the PhD degree are awarded on a competitive basis and may be supported by the UK research councils, medical research charities, industrial sponsors (including AstraZeneca), the
Department's David James Studentship, the School of Biological Sciences (SBS) and by University schemes.

If you study part-time, the University Composition Fee will be 60% of the annual full-time fee for 5 years; or 75% of the annual full-time fee for 4 years.
