How to Find a Supervisor
Applicants should first identify one or more laboratories in which they wish to study. Details of the research carried out in the Department can be found here. They should then make informal contact with the Group Leader(s) to ensure they are potentially able to supervise them, and to understand the research project they would undertake. The email addresses for Group Leaders can be found here. Once an applicant has received a conditional offer of a place in a laboratory, they should then apply via the Applicant Portal. Applicants should not apply until they have secured a conditional place in a laboratory.
