Alternative Guide to Postgraduate Funding
This is a useful database for exploring alternative funding opportunities. The University has purchased a license to the Guide, so it is free for all students and staff to use. Applicants who do not yet have a University email account should e-mail altguide.pgfunding@admin.cam.ac.uk to receive the Alternative Guide access pin. Current Cambridge students and staff can use their University email address to register online for access to Guide.
British Council - StudyUK
Their ‘Scholarships and funding’ webpage provides information on country specific funding and funding opportunities for international students.
European Funding Guide
This guide provides advice and listings of scholarships and grants for European students.

Both of these award £12,000 in scholarships to prospective students each year.
