Expected Academic Standard

Applicants for this course should have achieved a UK Masters (Distinction).

If your degree is not from the UK, please check International Qualifications to find the equivalent in your country.

Candidates for the PhD are expected to hold a first-class undergraduate degree from a UK university or equivalent GPA of at least 3.8/4.0 or equivalent from a non-UK university; and to have completed (or be about to complete) a Master’s Degree in a relevant subject, with a mark equivalent to a Distinction, or a GPA of at least 3.8/4.0 or equivalent from a non-UK university. They must also have a good research project that falls within the research interests of one of the Centre's lecturers.
