The Centre of Development Studies offers a scholarship for applicants whose primary citizenship is African. All applicants with African citizenship will be automatically considered for this award.

There is no funding available from the Department for MPhils undertaking fieldwork. Fieldwork is not mandatory and not expected as part of the course. However, students wishing to undertake research abroad will incur costs for flights, accommodation and subsistence. If you have any concerns about this please speak to the admissions administrator before applying.
