The MPhil in Micro- and Nanotechnology Enterprise offers us an interdisciplinary platform to explore all aspects of nanoscience as well as outreach skills. The well-designed courses and projects bring together cutting-edge research themes and entrepreneurship training. I benefitted greatly from the supervision of knowledgeable, patient academics and developed the confidence to start my research career. This degree is extremely valuable for those who wish to bring novel technologies into commercialization. Graduates in my cohort all found the desired paths of life, some continuing with a PhD successfully and others joining in renowned tech giants. I really liked the fact that the course not only covered a lot of theoretical and experimental modules, but also a number of business related coursework, including a chance to work with real businesses and startups. This course is really useful for someone looking to enter the multi-disciplinary field of nanotechnology and looking to either work in the industry or continue with a PhD.
