This course involves a mandatory internship. Students are advised that the Department does not provide funding to cover any costs incurred as a result of carrying out this internship (eg travel costs). While many students carry out their internship in Cambridge, some may choose to go further afield. Those students who undertake internships outside of Cambridge will be expected to meet any additional costs themselves, unless arrangements can be made with the host organisation. If working away, the costs of returning to Cambridge to deliver the final assessed presentation will also need to be met by the student.

Students are required to have their own laptop.  The cost if purchased new will depend on choice, but existing laptops if less than four years old are likely to be fine.
