Funding Opportunities
The NIH OxCam Programme funds a full four-year PhD, including University fees (whilst resident in Cambridge), 4 years of stipend/maintenance, travel budget and insurance. The fund supports six terms of research in Cambridge and six terms of research at the NIH.
The Gates Trust offers joint funding with the NIH OxCam Programme for the full four-year PhD, providing University fees whilst the student is in Cambridge, with the NIH providing four years of stipend, and a travel budget and insurance throughout the duration of the PhD. Wherever possible, eligible applicants for Gates funding are expected to apply to Gates in a timely manner. Applications must be received by the published Gates Trust funding deadlines and will be reviewed within established processes.
Cambridge Trust awards are also available to successful candidates and are awarded through the School of Clinical Medicine.

If you study part-time, the University Composition Fee will be 60% of the annual full-time fee for 5 years; or 75% of the annual full-time fee for 4 years.
