"From when I received my offer to join to now, having been a part of the department for the past year and a half, the level of support and administrative organisation I have experienced has been invaluable to my PhD experience. Collaboration and interaction with other members of the department, students or staff, has also been strongly encouraged with many opportunities to come together and learn from each other. Overall, this has allowed me to feel that I am in the best possible environment to focus on my research and grow within the university's scientific community."

"My time at Cambridge has been mostly defined by the interactions with the people in my department. In times when I was overwhelmed with failing experiments and deadlines, I knew I could always turn to the other PhD students in my research institute but also to research assistants, admin staff, technicians and even PIs.
Everyone at the department is approachable and ready to make time to help. I also felt inspired being part of the Clinical Neurosciences department as I am surrounded by driven, enthusiastic and extraordinary researchers who strive to produce some of the most outstanding research in the world. I am proud to be part of this community."
