I would absolutely recommend a PhD in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences, particularly because it is an open community full of friendly and supportive people. I have found that the other PhD students, PIs and clinical staff love to help when you reach out to them, even if you just want to have a chat. Apart from important points, such as good supervision and help, there are also the small things like having lunch together or meeting after work that I love about this Department and its members. Such friendly connections are equally important since doing a PhD can be otherwise quite isolating.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my first two terms as a PhD student in the Department. Everyone has been welcoming, and the weekly seminars are a great opportunity to share work in an informal manner. I am very interested in my own research field but also appreciate the collaboration opportunities within the Department and look forward to exploring them further in the coming years.

My time spent as a PhD student in this department was exciting and very enjoyable!
I am a clinician and I took this opportunity to concentrate on analytical research in the Brain Physics Lab in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences: I will never regret it!
The Department spans very diverse research fields, which enriches the experience with lots of opportunities. The team is very supportive, especially the academic committee, which makes it all much easier.
