Postgraduate Study

Funding Opportunities

We have a number of MRC-funded studentships that we can offer to some of our eligible applicants (see MRC eligibility details). These cover the University Composition Fee at the Home fees rate and provide a small but liveable maintenance stipend (£17,668 per annum in October 2022).

If we make you an offer of a place for postgraduate study at the CBU, we will nominate you for any Cambridge-based scholarships that we consider you eligible for. These include Cambridge Trust, Gates, Harding, ESRC, and various other Cambridge College awards. At the time of completing your application, please ensure that you confirm that you would like to be considered for any awards you consider yourself eligible for.
