I truly enjoy my research project at Genetics. I am particularly interested in understanding how genes function in key cellular processes using cutting-edge microscopy and genetic tools. People at the department are kind and helpful, which makes a wonderful environment for research. The department regularly organises both social and academic events, making it easy to connect with peers and take a break from lab work. I also appreciate the diverse range of seminars, which provide a great opportunity to explore different research topics and engage in thought-provoking discussions.
