Offer holders must submit official copies of their academic documents for verification.
Your academic condition will explain how to submit your documents for your course and circumstances. You may need to submit them in one of the following ways:
- Upload your documents to the University of Cambridge Qualification Check portal https://cambridge.qualificationcheck.com/
- Send a link to your documents from a secure electronic transcript service such as Parchment or HEAR, to us at bgstranscripts@admin.cam.ac.uk.
There is a cost for using the Qualification Check service unless you have an application fee waiver.
If you have a fee waiver, contact us using our Contact Form, and we will remove the Qualification Check fee. Do not pay the fee until you hear from us, as we cannot refund fees that have already been paid.
Using Qualification Check
Qualification Check is an established, GDPR-compliant global provider of academic and professional verification. They offer one of the quickest and easiest ways for international applicants to confirm their credentials.
Through the University of Cambridge Qualification Check portal, your awarding institution will verify your qualification, and confirmation will be shared with both you and the Postgraduate Admissions Office.
You’ll be notified through your Self-Service account once your documents have been received, your conditions completed, or if further steps are required.
Each institution has its own verification process—any specific information or documents required will be listed in the portal when you select your institution.

Important notes
- Applicants must use https://cambridge.qualificationcheck.com/ to register as a University of Cambridge applicant. Using the standard Qualification Check website will delay the process, as we may not receive your results automatically.
- The Postgraduate Admissions Office and Qualification Check work to process requests quickly, but we cannot control how long each institution takes to respond or what documents they require.
- This is the verification stage only. Any further actions that you need to complete will be communicated to you via your Self-Service account.
