Apply using the Applicant Portal
The Apply Now button on the right will take you to the Applicant Portal. There, you can create and submit your application and supporting documents, and you can also request your references.
An application is only complete when:
- you have submitted your application and supporting documents via the Applicant Portal
- you have paid the £75 application fee. Further information on application fees see here.
- your referees have provided their references.
If you miss the deadlines specified in this section, you will not be able to submit your application.
In the first instance, applicants should complete the Nuclear Energy Futures Pre-Application Form available on the CDT website and submit to Imperial College London for review. Following your initial enquiry, the CDT may invite you to make a formal application to the University of Cambridge.
Please note: if you wish to apply for part-time study please indicate this on the application forms. Part-time study may not always be viable and will be considered on a case-by-case basis, so please discuss this option with your proposed supervisor before making an application for this mode of study.
Selection Process
Applicants are invited to apply only after completing the initial selection process led by Imperial College London. Details of the application process and timeline are available on the CDT website at https://www.imperial.ac.uk/nuclear-cdt/apply/.
