The Apply Now button on the right will take you to the Applicant Portal. There, you can create and submit your application and supporting documents, and you can also request your references.

  3. your referees have provided their references.

If you miss the deadlines specified in this section, you will not be able to submit your application.

All students will be expected to attend an Induction Week from 27 September – 1 October 2021. The Induction Week will consist of lectures, discussions and other activities directly relevant for the programme. Students who are unable to attend the induction week for unavoidable reasons should contact the Programme Administrator as early as possible to discuss their circumstances.

Admitted students should plan to arrive in Cambridge in sufficient time to fully participate in the Induction Week. Students allocated College accommodation are advised to contact their College to discuss the possibility of moving in early.

Selection Process

Applications received by the 7 January 2021 will be considered for eligible studentships/scholarships administered by the CDT, with interviews scheduled to take place in Februray/March. Applications received after this time will be considered but funding opportunities may be limited and the programme's website will be updated to advise if further funding is available.

The final deadline for applications is the 31 May 2021 but should all the places be filled, the Department reserves the right to close early. We strongly advise applicants to submit their applications as early as possible.
