Conservation of Easel Paintings is no longer accepting new applications.

My Diploma course in the Conservation of Easel Paintings at the Hamilton Kerr Institute have allowed me to become an independent conservator who is able to assess paintings efficiently, solve problems and treat paintings accordingly. One-to-one guidance in theory and practical treatments formed a positive learning environment for me  and I felt well-supported throughout the three year course. With the input of staff members, I was given the opportunity to tackle the conservation of a wide variety of paintings and I therefore feel I have received the support and tools to prepare me for a future career in art conservation.
